Course registration begins July 15th, 2013. Here is some important information about registering for Italian and Spanish courses
Please note:most of the seats ITLN P10 is reserved for first year students during first two weeks of Class Selection. This restriction will expire on July 29th, 2012.

Please note: most of the seats SPAN P10 is reserved for first year students during first two weeks of Class Selection. This restriction will expire on July 29th, 2012.
Students who have completed 4U Spanishor equivalent are not allowed to take SPAN P10 and SPAN 112. You need to register for SPAN 204 and SPAN 205, unless you are familiar with the following grammar points:
Demonstratives adjectives and pronouns; Affirmative and negative expressions; verbs with irregular first- person forms; saber vs conocer; direct and indirect pronouns; use of “gustar” and verbs like “gustar”; form and basic uses of the Preterit (past) tense of regular and irregular verbs; time expression with hacer; uses of por and para; reflexive verbs. Form of the Imperfect (past) tense, and its contrast with preterit; "que" versus "quien" as relative pronouns; introduction to the subjunctive form and its uses with emotion, volition, doubt, disbelief, and denial; negative and indefinite antecedents; formal and informal commands; constructions with -se-.
If you are familiar with the above, you need to enroll into SPAN 301 and 302.
