Purpose

During individual career appointments, the career counsellor can help you explore questions central to managing your career. Topics can relate to any area of career planning and decision-making and typically range from the general, "Where do I go from here?" to a discussion of the fine details that make up a carefully crafted résumé or preparation for an interview. Whether your question involves career direction, job search or further education, the career counsellor is here to help with career strategy. For sector-specific questions and details, the career counsellor may refer you to complementary programming and people in the School of Policy Studies.
