Malcolm Brown
Deputy Minister for International Development

On April 25, 2014, the Prime Minister appointed Malcolm Brown as Deputy Minister of International Development, effective May 20, 2014. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Brown served as Executive Vice-President of the Canada Border Services Agency since January 31, 2011.

Between 2002 and 2009, Mr. Brown occupied assistant deputy minister-level positions with Human Resources Development Canada, Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC), culminating with the position of Senior Assistant Deputy Minister, Strategic Policy and Research, HRSDC. In October 2009, Mr. Brown was named Associate Deputy Minister of Natural Resources Canada.

 

Kevin Costante
Fmr. Deputy Minister, Ministry of Government Services, Ontario

Kevin Costante was appointed Deputy Minister, Ministry of Government Services, Associate Secretary of Management Board of Cabinet and and Secretary of Management Board of Cabinet on March 26, 2012.

Kevin Costante became Ontario's Deputy Minister of Education on July 26, 2009. Prior to this, he served as the Deputy Minister of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry; the Deputy Minister and Associate Secretary of the Cabinet, Policy, in Cabinet Office; the Deputy Minister of Community and Social Services; and the Deputy Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities.  In addition to this, Kevin has held a number of other senior executive positions in the Ontario Public Service, including with the ministries of Community and Social Services, and Treasury and Economics.
