Tom Williams is a Professor Emeritus in the School of Policy Studies and holds a similar position in the Faculty of Education. He teaches courses in Management, Conflict Management and Mediation in the M.P.A., M.B.A. and M.Ed. programs.
An experienced manager, Williams has occupied such diverse management positions as Vice Principal Operations and Vice Principal Institutional Relations at Queen's University and he was also Dean of the University's Faculty of Education for nine years.
Williams is an active researcher focusing on areas of education policy. He is interested in management development and training, the management of large scale organizational change including public sector mergers, board development in public sector organizations and, means of resolving conflict in public organizations.
Tom is a frequent speaker on leadership development and also is active as a mediator. He serves frequently as a facilitator in a wide range of organizations.
