QPR Queen's Policy Review

The Queen's Policy Review is a refereed scholarly publication produced by students of the School of Policy Studies at Queen's University. This journal is oriented toward the publication of graduate student papers, in recognition of their contribution to the field of public policy and governance.

The Editorial Board consists of several student editors. Any submission that passes the initial student review must also pass a blind external assessment by faculty at the School of Policy Studies.

The Queen's Policy Review was established in 2009 as a means to disseminate the original thoughts and quality analyses being produced by the students in the School of Policy Studies, as well as in other universities throughout the world. The objectives of the Queen's Policy Review are to:

  • stimulate the production of original and thought-provoking research, primarily by graduate students, in the field of public policy and governance
  • provide a voice for students to influence the public debate
