We are excited to welcome you to Kingston, Ontario for this year's conference!
Located midway between Toronto and Montreal, Kingston (one of Canada's top 25 cities) was named the first capital of the Province of Canada on February 15, 1841. While its time as a political center was short, Kingston has remained an important military installation and is home to Canadian Forces Base Kingston. Kingston's modest population of 120,000 is supported by many other government institutions including two universities, one college, seven penitentiaries, three hospitals, and two Ontario provincial ministries. Kingston is also Canada's museum capital with something for everyone at its 22 museums and historic sites and three art galleries. It is a small city with a huge presence full of history, culture, and character. Heritage and culture abound at Canada's newest World Heritage Destination.
