Residence Move-in Day is Sunday September 4, 2016!  

Learn all you need to know about coming to campus and moving your student into their residence room!

Move-in day Parent Information Sessions

Parents: After you have "stop, drop and parked" and moved your student into their room on Move-In Day, plan to attend one of our Parent Information Sessions!

These sessions are repeated throughout the day and provide family members with important information to help students as they transition to university life. You can also connect with student support service providers to get your questions answered about a broad array of topics and issues to support your student’s academic and personal success at Queen’s.

You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions about:

  • residences and residence life
  • meal plans
  • managing severe allergies on campus
  • learning and writing support services
  • registration
  • tuition payments
  • student awards
  • athletics and recreation programs 
  • cultural supports 
  • student wellness services – health, counselling, accessibility and health promotion 
  • clubs, programs and support services provided by the AMS, Queen’s undergraduate student government
