General Information

Registration fees: $45 per student, and $10 for each additional guest (maximum of 2 guests per student). The fee includes light refreshments upon your arrival in the morning, and lunch.

Parking:  During SOAR, you can park for free in two designated parking lots on campus, Tindal and Dupuis Parking Lots. For more information about parking, please visit our SOAR Parking page.

On-campus accommodations: During your SOAR visit, students and family members have the option of staying overnight in one of our comfortable and affordable on-campus residence rooms.

To book a stay in one of our residence rooms, please visithttps://housing.queensu.ca/reservations/  and choose “SOAR” from the drop-down menu. Please select for the week appropriate to your faculty.

Driving to Queen's: If you are driving to Queen's this July we recommend the following route:

• From Highway #401 (Macdonald-Cartier Freeway), exit at Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd. (Exit 615).
• Drive south to Union Street.
• Turn left at the traffic lights, then travel six blocks to get to Queen's main campus.
