Rhodes Scholarship

The Rhodes Scholarship Canada webpage is where 2018 timelines and information about the process and requirements are posted.

Read the Rhodes Scholarship 2017 Canada Information for Candidates for all information about applying to Rhodes.

All applicants to Rhodes must be endorsed by their post-secondary institution. Applicants must apply for endorsement to Queen's before they can submit their application to Rhodes.  

Internal Rhodes applications to Queen's University are due (date to come) via email to by 11:59 p.m. 

The application materials that candidates must submit to Queen's University to be considered for endorsement very closely mirror the application requirements for the Canadian Rhodes Scholarship. 

Information about the 2018 Rhodes Scholarship process and timeline for Canadian applicants, and the process at Queen's University for internal endorsement is outlined below.

  • Become familiar with the Rhodes Scholarship through links posted on this page under “Key Sources of Information about the Rhodes Scholarship”.
  • Decide whether the Rhodes program is suitable for you. Consult Career Services (e.g., Drop-in Career Advising, Workshops and Career Counselling appointments) as you begin to make long-term decisions, research further education options, prepare a curriculum vitae, statement of research interests and personal statements.
