On-campus emergencies: 613-533-6111.
Campus Security promotes a safe and welcoming environment that recognizes the diverse nature of the Queen's community, operating a variety of services that range from emergency response to safety education.
There are 4 ways to keep yourself up-to-date on security incidents:
The Emergency Notification Systems (ENS) are used in real-time to broadcast clear information before, during, and after emergency situations. A siren signal will sound, followed by safety instructions alerting the campus to take shelter and check one of the Emergency Notification platforms (Queen's website, University Status Line, Queen's email, etc.) for information and instructions.
Campus Security can check on you when you are working on campus outside business hours. When the AMS Walkhome service is off-duty, Campus Security will provide a safe escort (day or night) between points on campus. Call 613-533-6080.
The Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) program provides women with information about self-defense, personal safety, awareness, and risk reduction and avoidance. Three four-hour sessions include basic self-defense techniques, lectures, and discussions, suitable for women of all ages and abilities. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
