Student Initiative Fund

Are you a student with a great idea or project that can help you learn and work in service to the community?

The Student Initiative Fund seeks to help students and student organizations fund projects that provide educational opportunities that could include participation in:

  • Competitions
  • Symposia
  • Conferences
  • Festivals
  • Community development projects

Objectives and Principles:

The Dean of Student Affairs Student Initiative Fund is held by the Vice-Provost and Dean of Student Affairs as discretionary financial support for projects that enhance the quality of the student experience at Queen's.

The Fund exists to support projects that are dedicated to the principles of personal and community development and, in particular, that provide extra and co-curricular educational opportunities for students to build leadership, citizenship, intercultural awareness and/or community-building skills.

 

The Eligibility Criteria and Requirements, and the Application Process is currently being reviewed (Spring 2012). Please check back for updates.
