Named Law Admission Bursaries

The following bursaries and awards have been made available thanks to the generosity of Queen's donors.

Law Admission Bursary Application (Deadline has passed)
The following named Law Admission Bursaries have been made possible due to generous donations from specific donors.  If a student is selected to receive a Law Admission Bursary the name of their bursary may be ammended to one of the following awards.  Please note that only the name of the award will change after a student has been selected; the value of their Law Admission Bursary assistance will not change depending on the name of the award.  All students who wish to be considered for Law Admission Bursary assistance must submit a Law Admission Bursary application.
Miller Thomson LLP National Entrance Scholarship

Established in February 2004 by Miller Thomson LLP and awarded on the basis of academic achievement, financial need and involvement in extracurricular and community activities to a student entering the first year of studies in the Faculty of Law. Selection will be made by the Associate University Registrar (Student Awards) in consultation with the Director of Admissions in the Faculty of Law.

Waterloo Law Association Entrance Award

Established in October 2005 by the Waterloo Law Association and awarded on the basis of academic excellence, financial need, and a record of community service to students entering the LLB program in the Faculty of Law. Preference will be given to students who, at the time of admission to Queen's University, were residents of the Kitchener, Waterloo Cambridge region.
