Financing Your Queen's Law Degree
We want you to succeed at Queen’s! There’s no better time than now to develop your financial plan for your degree. We want you to have the information you need, and the support you may require to finance your education, whether it is information about scholarships, bursaries, government assistance or financial advising. We’re here to help!

Below, are some key activities and timelines to assist you in preparing financially for your first year of study at Queen’s.
|Apply for a Faculty of Law Admission Bursary||A bursary is a non-repayable amount of money you receive to assist you in financing your education that you do not have to pay back. The amount of bursary you receive is based on an assessment of your financial need.||Apply before February 15, 2017|
|Apply for Government Student Assistance||All provinces/territories provide government financial assistance.||Applications are available on the provincial/territorial web sites in April. We recommend you apply by early June to ensure your funding is available when you begin studies in the fall.|
|Tuition Due Dates||Tuition and fees for 2017 will be announced in May 2017.||
Tuition is due on September 1, 2017.
Tuition and the Student Assistance Levy (SAL) for the Fall Term will be due on September 1st, 2017. Tuition and the Student Assistance Levy (SAL) for the Winter Term will be due on January 10th, 2018. Student Activity Fees, and Fall residence fees will be due on September 30th, 2017. The balance of Winter Term student fees and residence fees will be due on January 31st, 2018. Further information will be provided in the “Guide to Registration and Fees” sent to all entering students in the summer.
