School of Urban and Regional Planning

Since 1970, our rigorous and well-focused two-year Master of Planning (M.PL.) program allows our students to develop the knowledge and skills they require to become leaders in the planning field and to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving urban environment.

School of Urban and Regional Planning and Faculty of Law Coordinated Degree Program

SURP and the Faculty of Law experimented with a co-ordinated LLB / M.PL. degree in the late 1990s but the program was put in abeyance in 2001. A proposal to revive the program as a co-ordinated J.D. / M.PL. is under review by the Law Faculty Board.
