Since 1970, our rigorous and well-focused two-year Master of Planning (M.PL.) program allows our students to develop the knowledge and skills they require to become leaders in the planning field and to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving urban environment.
Faculty are awarded an average of about $200,000 per year of external funding for a variety of research projects. Faculty members are remarkably successful in securing SSHRCC funding as well as Canadian International Development Agency projects. Moreover, two professional programs, the National Executive Forum on Public Property and the Executive Seminars on Corporate and Investment Real Estate, also generated research funding on professional practice. Faculty research projects help to create student employment and report/thesis projects. The Table below outlines research projects undertaken by faculty members.
