Climate Change and You

When: Thursday, November 19th, 2:30PM to 3:30PM

Where: BioSciences Complex, room 1102

Bridget Doherty, a local organizer of the campaign, will discuss her role as a community activist here in Kingston. Her talk is a perfect topic with the upcoming Copenhagen conference on Climate Change.

The campaign is an international campaign dedicated to building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis.  Their focus is on the number 350--as in parts per million, the level scientists have identified as the safe upper limit for CO2 in the atmosphere. 350 is their symbol of where we need to head as a planet.

If you want to hear more about climate change and engage in fruitful discussion please come on out.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
