Why not come out and celebrate Earth Day on April 22 with the Queen’s Sustainability Office and partners, as we come together for a morning of activity and learning.
Join the Queen’s Sustainability Office and its partners the AMS, SGPS, Sodexo and WSI as we get our hands dirty to help clean up the campus and learn more about campus sustainability initiatives and opportunities to make positive environmental changes in your everyday activities.
This year will mark the 20th anniversary of Earth Day celebrations in Canada, during which time participation has grown from 2 million in 1990 to 6 million today. The event’s success is rooted in its focus on community action and education.
Earth Day provides opportunities to learn and get involved with everyday activities that have positive environmental impacts, with programming directed at youth, educators and communities.
