Bottle Filling Station Dress Up

Thursday, October 11th, 10 am to 2pmbottlefillstation.jpg

Various Locations

The “Bottle Filling Station Dress Up” is being held, Thursday October 11, from 10 am – 2 pm to promote the university’s commitment to go bottled water free, effective September 1, 2012.  Currently, single-use bottles of water are no longer available for sale or distribution on campus.  This includes all areas of university operations including food retail space, vending machines, catering, student-run events, athletic events and our commercial retail space.

Join us and vote on your favourite dressed up bottle filling stations.  Groups on campus such as the AMS, SGPS, MCRC, Sustainability office, and Food Services are participating in an awareness event to highlight the new bottle filling stations on campus by setting up a display that “dresses-up” one of the bottle-filling stations.

Check out the fountains at the following locations, fill out a ballot and you could win 1 of 10 prizes:

•             MacCorry cafeteria – Sodexo

•             John Deutsch University Centre – AMS

•             Stirling Hall – SGPS

•             Biosciences – Brown’s

•             Dunning Hall - Queen’s Sustainability

•             Stauffer Library – MCRC
