Earth Day

Earth Day is celebrated each year on April 22nd.  This year, Queen's will mark Earth Day with several events throughout the week of April 18 to 22.

April 19, 1pm to 3:30pm, Robert Sutherland Building 202

Participate in a Symposium on Environmental Responsibility Without Limits, with special guests Dr. Nigel Clark and Dr Peter C. Van Wyck.

April 20, 11:30am to 1:00pm, Agnes Benedickson Field

Queen’s community members are invited to check out the information booths, have some snacks and coffee, and get involved by working at raking, mulching, planting and litter-pick up workstations. There will also be a ceremonial group tree planting at 12:40 pm.

April 21, 7:00pm to 9:30pm, Ellis Hall Auditorium

Come out to a public screening of 'Waterlife: the Great Lakes'.  Part musical meditation, the film screening is supported by a live performance by: The Gertrudes, with representatives from the Waterkeepers, the Water Walkers, and Jamie Linton, author of 'What is water?'
