Earth Day at Queen's

Thursday, April 22nd

10 am - noon

Between Ontario Hall and Grant Hall

Join with 1 billion people in over 170 countries participating in Earth Day activities. Originally launched in 1970, Earth Day has become a catalyst for projects addressing local environmental issues.

Participate in a morning of outdoor activity between Ontario Hall and Grant Hall.  Throughout the morning you can help spruce up our campus grounds through flower planting, garden bed maintenance and litter pick-up. During this time, enjoy some light refreshments and peruse information on other campus sustainability initiatives, presented by Queen's Sustainability office, Sodexo, MorganScott and the Living Cities Company

The morning will be capped off with a tree planting ceremony at 11:30 am.
