Emerging Leadership Initiatives

The Delphi Group (the university's climate change plan development partners), along with a number of other agencies have launched three exciting initiatives for students and young professionals in the field of environment and sustainability:

Leading Change and our annual Emerging Leaders Forum, which is a one-day Forum for 150 Emerging Leaders including students and young professionals interested in the environment, clean energy and clean technology.  It will be held in March at the 2012 Globe Conference – see http://leadingchange2012.ca/ for more information

Canadian Youth Environmental Leadership Scholarship, which will be awarded to two Canadian students currently enrolled in their second or third year of an undergraduate program who best combine academic achievement and public environmental service.  Please go to www.delphi.ca/company/the_canadian_youth_environmental_leadership_scholarship/

The Next Gen Entrepreneurial Award which will be presented to a post-secondary student or a recent (under 30 years of age), who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, dedication, commitment, innovation, and entrepreneurship with regards to the principles of sustainability.  Please see the bottom of www.theglobeawards.ca/application/categories-judging-criteria
