Early Researcher Awards (ERA)

ERA provides funding for researchers who started their academic research career no more than 5 years ago and completed a first PhD, DVM, or MD no more than 10 years ago, taking into account eligible interruptions. Current ERA holders and Level 1 CRCs are excluded. To be competitive, applicants should generally have obtained peer-reviewed funding, published independently from their former supervisors, and have supervised their own students. Expectations for research excellence and productivity are high.
