The Office of the Vice-Principal (Research) works to stimulate, enhance and promote Queen's position as
a leading research-intensive university.
Our primary activities are focused on:
- supporting research activities,
- ongoing lobbying at the provincial and federal levels for increased research funding and indirect costs,
- increasing partnerships and collaborations across the region,
- developing, supporting and promoting areas of strategic importance for research, and
- profiling Queen's researchers through awards nominations, recognition events and news and media outreach.
