Launch of the Consultation on the Draft of the Tri-Agency Framework: Responsible Conduct of Research

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) have officially launched a consultation on the draft Tri-Agency Framework: Responsible Conduct of Research.

The document was developed by the Agencies in collaboration with the Association of Universities and Collegues of Canada (AUCC), and will be available online for input from August 15, 2011 to September 30, 2011.

The Agencies invite institutions, associations, organization and individuals to provide input on the draft.

They ask that you provide your written comments and feedback according to the following sections of the Framework:

  • Responsibilities of Researchers
  • Breaches of Agency Policies by Researchers
  • Responsibilities of Institutions
  • Breaches of Agency Policies by Institutions
  • Responsibilities of the Agencies

Responses can be sent electronically to, the Vice-Principal (Research) at, or to the Associate Dean (Research) of your department.
