Since 2010
BA in English and Spanish Literature, Dalhousie University Masters of Education program, Queen's University
I've been really fortunate to work with many diverse groups of students from different cultural backgrounds and countries. My teaching experiences range from modest rural schools in Spain and Morocco, to a modern post-secondary college in Japan, to private literacy tutoring for middle-school students with the Limestone District School Board. As a results, I've become comfortable with adapting to the demands of differing teaching philosophies, learning methods, and cultural practices in order to accommodate different learners. The Masters of Education program here at Queen's has enriched my understanding of processes of learning, specifically in literacy and English Language Learning.
I love to talk about music, and mix tapes and vinyl records are some of my favourite things in this world.
