I’ve worked at the Writing Centre for ten years and for the last five I’ve held the position of ESL Program Coordinator. I’m also a Writing Coach for the Commerce Program, Queen’s School of Business.

I’ve worked in the following positions: instructor at RMC for an online writing skills course; teaching assistant for Writing 175; adult literacy teacher; instructor for various English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses at the Queen's School of English; ESL teacher at CFB Kingston. I’m a former member of the Kingston Whig-StandardCommunity Editorial Board.
I like the Writing Centre because I get to work with wonderful students and staff while consuming large amounts of coffee. I’m as serious about my coffee as I am about my work – I’ve taken a Basic Espresso and Latte Art class, and recently I was one of the judges at a local barista competition.
