The University's central events calendar system is maintained under a distributed administration model, with contributors from all corners of the campus.
Find the Events Calendar at http://eventscalendar.queensu.ca and through links on Queen's home page, either by clicking the "Events Calendar" text in the event feed or in the Information links near the bottom of the page .
Queen's Events Calendar is managed by the Department of Marketing and Communications and maintained by IT Services. Please e-mail web@queensu.ca for assistance.
Events can be posted by faculty, staff (including student staff) and members of the student government, or by others upon special request.

Some areas of the University, such as the Registrar and Human Rights Office, may also use the calendar to promote important dates (eg. add-drop deadlines and faith dates).

Queen's home page Events Calendar items automatically appear via an RSS feed from the calendar. Some events are also spotlighted with text and a graphic further down on the homepage. If you would like your event to be considered for spotlighting on the homepage, please e-mail web@queensu.ca. With few exceptions, event notices are not promoted through our home page news items, which are pulled from Queen's News Centre. Please contact the News and Media Services for more information on event news.
Queen's Events Calendar has been built with the Bedework open-source, institutional calendar system for higher education. Bedework has been designed to conform to current calendaring standards.
