Testing
In order to ensure the greatest compatibility with as broad a range of user agents as possible, it is important to test your web pages/documents in as many environments as you can. Testing on Mac, Windows and Linux (or other Unix flavours) platforms with multiple browsers is recommended. Testing with the following browsers is recommended:
- The latest version of Internet Explorer
- The latest version of Firefox (Mac, PC, Linux)
- The latest version of Safari (Mac, Windows)
- The latest version of Opera
- Previous versions of browsers if your server logs indicate significant usage for your site
- A text only browser such as Lynx, and a hand-held device ( a PDA such as a Blackberry)
