Selection is based on applicants' academic standing. Prerequisite courses are the same as those for entrance into the undergraduate degree program you are applying to at Queen’s. See:

Concurrent Education candidates are eligible to apply to program tracks in the year immediately preceding their final BEd year. Interested applicants should refer to the above link for details outlining the required supplemental documents and deadlines. Applications for the Indigenous Teacher Education, Artist in Community Education, Outdoor and Experiential Education, and Primary-Junior French as a Second Language program tracks are accepted in December of Year 4, or the academic year the undergraduate degree is completed.
