ANIM 200 Introduction to Animation Units: 3.00
The course covers key developments in independent and commercial animation over the last century and offers critical engagement with emerging voices in the field. The course includes a historical overview of animation practices, a hands-on introduction to basic animation techniques, and a required field trip to a major animation festival.
NOTE Field Trip: estimated cost $400.

An advanced course in developing expertise through research and/or praxis in specialized areas of animation production and studies.

Requirements: Prerequisite ANIM 200 or (Level 4 or above and registration in a FILM, MAPP, or COFI Plan).
