HIST 498  China's Revolutions, 1911-1949  Units: 3.00  

A course on China's nationalist and communist revolutions. Readings explore rival revolutionaries' goals and programs. Seminars examine the internal and international struggles affecting the outcome of the civil war of 1946-1949.

Learning Hours: 144 (36 Seminar, 108 Private Study)  
Requirements: Prerequisite Registration in a HIST Major or Joint Honours Plan and a minimum grade of C+ in 6.0 units from HIST 300-330.
