New Privacy Breach Regulations under PHIPA

The Information and Privacy Commissioner has issued new guidance on reporting breaches of personal health information.

The Personal Health Information Protection Act and its Regulation have been amended such that institutions are now required to notify the Commissioner of certain kinds of breaches.
