Heather F Clarke
Thursday, November 24, 2016 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

The Vancouver Branch of the Queen's University Alumni Association invites you to celebrate the spirit of Queen's University at the Kathleen Beaumont Hill Award Reception honouring Dr. Heather F. Clarke, NSc'66  for her dedication to Queen's and the School of Nursing, her distinguished career in the field of health, and her extraordinary contributions to the community, highlighting and championing Aboriginal initiatives. She is an inspiration to many Queen's alumni in the Vancouver community! In 2013, Dr. Clarke established the Dr. Heather F. Clarke Nursing Bursary. This bursary is awarded on the basis of the financial need of students in Nursing with a preference given to Canadian Aboriginal students (First Nations, Inuit or Metis).  There is an opportunity to donate to this fund on the registration page. Dr. Clarke is an outstanding alumna, citizen, role model and also a truly worthy recipient of the 2016 Kathleen Beaumont Hill Award.

With special guests Daniel R. Woolf, Artsci'80, Principal and Vice-Chancellor and Sue Bates, Artsci'91 President, Queen's University Alumni Association

Dress: Business

Created in 2009, this award celebrates the dedication and generosity of Kathleen (Beaumont) Hill, Arts’50, to her alma mater and her community for more than 65 years.
