ottawa gatineau from parliament hill
Tuesday, November 28, 2017 - 11:30am to 2:00pm

Join us for the Ottawa Cha Gheill luncheon, featuring guest speaker Bell Canada Mental Health and Anti-stigma Research Chair, Dr. Heather Stuart, who will be presenting on Overcoming Mental Illness and Its Related Stigma.

Dr. Stuart is a social-epidemiologist specializing in psychiatric epidemiology and mental health services research.  She is a Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Queen’s with cross appointments to the Department of Psychiatry and the School of Rehabilitation.  She is Senior Consultant to the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s Opening Minds, Anti-stigma program and Past Chair of the Scientific Section on Stigma and Mental Disorders, World Psychiatric Association.

The Cha Gheill luncheon is intended to fill the role previously held by the Over 50s luncheons in Ottawa, by providing an informative lecture and a friendly meal with Queen's connections. While the topics may be of most interest to a more established alumni audience, all alumni are invited to attend.

Luncheon Menu
Stuffed Chicken Breast: herb stuffing, steamed garden vegetables, roasted potatoes and port wine jus.
Tarte Tatin: Caramelized apples on puff pastry with vanilla ice cream.

Dietary accommodations will be made with notice, please indicate your request when registering.
