University Council Dinner featuring Distinguished Service Awards

Join Chancellor Jim Leech and Principal and Vice-Chancellor Daniel R. Woolf in honouring this year's Distinguished Service Award recipients at the University Council Dinner. The 2018 recipients are:

Teresa Alm - Staff member since 2000, the current Associate University Registrar (Student Awards), and outstanding mentor to students.

Keith Banting - Queen’s alumnus, Queen’s Research Chair in Public Policy, professor in the Department of Political Studies and the School of Policy Studies, and renowned scholar.

Sarah Jane Dumbrille - Queen’s alumna, former Trustee, and University Councillor, dedicated volunteer in governance, the arts, medicine, and champion for the University.

John Fisher - Queen’s faculty member since 1984, former Interim Vice-Principal (Research) and teacher, mentor, researcher, and administrator who exhibited sincere dedication to the University in all of his roles.

Audrey Hunt - Invaluable staff member since 1979, served in several departments across the University and retired as Department and Financial Administrator (Department of Emergency Medicine) after 21 years of service where she provided exemplary support and guidance to the Department as it tripled in size.

Brian Osborne - Professor Emeritus, former Department Head (Geography) and faculty member since 1967, and dedicated supporter of the arts.
