Friday, April 5, 2019 - 12:00pm to Saturday, April 6, 2019 - 3:30pm

Whether it's in your Queen's volunteer role or in your professional career, this year's Alumni Volunteer Summit theme, "From Idea to Action: Harnessing Volunteer Enthusiasm," offers sessions to support your efforts in motivating yourself and your team to translate ideas to action.

If you're new to volunteering, attending the summit is an ideal way to build your network with other experienced volunteers and volunteer leaders.

Keynote speaker Diana Drury, Artsci'83, Ed'84, Director/Coach, Team & Executive Coaching, Smith School of Business, will bring her expertise in performance coaching to guide attendees on overcoming barriers and accomplishing goals. The afternoon will feature an expert panel discussing the pressures and potential burnout that volunteers can face, and how the mental wellness of individuals and the overall team is critical to bringing ideas to life. Principal and Vice-Chancellor Daniel R. Woolf, Artsci'80, will speak to attendees on the state of the university, and offer updates and reflections on this, his final Summit as Queen's Principal.
