Creative Movement at Agnes

Kingston, ON

Those living with Parkinson's, their caregivers, and loved ones are invited to join us for a free movement class. These creative classes facilitated by Amy Booth, registered Physiotherapist and dance educator, take place in Agnes's galleries to inspire individuals to move in a way that makes them feel thoughtful and good. You'll have the opportunity to improvise and collaborate during this session. 

Please complete a liability form prior to the class. The main entrance to Agnes is accessible with a ramp from University Avenue and has automatic door openers. All galleries are located on the main floor and have automatic door openers. Read more about Agnes's facilities

Amy Booth is a seasoned dance educator and registered physiotherapist living in Kingston. Following her career as a dancer, Amy earned a teaching diploma from Canada's National Ballet School and a Masters of Physiotherapy from Queen's. Alongside her work at the Movement Disorders Clinic, Amy teaches dance to individuals of all ages and abilities, specializing in work with older adults living with neurological conditions.
