Math & Engineering 50th Reunion

Join us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Math and Engineering Program. Enjoy a unique opportunity to connect with your classmates and learn more about the program’s impact in the beautiful surroundings of the University Club. Meet old and new friends at a drinks reception (cash bar) on Friday evening.

What has remained constant throughout is the program's ideal of excellence. Nowhere is this more visible than in the tremendous success Mathematics and Engineering alumni and alumnae have enjoyed in industry and academia over the years. We will come together with two events over Homecoming weekend to celebrate our grads' success.

Friday, October 13, 6:00-8:00 pm

  • Meet old friends and other alumni over drinks and canapés at the University Club. (cash bar)
    Cost: $10

Saturday, October 14, 9:00-11:30 am

  • We will start with breakfast at 9:00 am followed by an engaging morning of presentations and discussion with alumni and alumnae. Reconnect with the program and offer your insight into the key trends that will shape the next 50 years. Lunch will be served at 11:30 am and finish in time for the football game.
    Cost: $50

Confirmed Speakers

  • Vijay Bhargava (1970, Control and Communications, Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering, UBC)
