Mark S. Lodge Fund in Spinal Cord Research

Established in memory of Mark Stephen Lodge who passed away in February 2015. Mark suffered a spinal cord injury in 1995 as a result of a car accident and it is his family’s wish to support ongoing research at Queen’s to give hope to future patients with spinal cord injuries.

 

About the fund 

Established in January 2016 by the Lodge family in memory of Mark Stephen Lodge to advance spinal cord research at Queen’s. Annual investment income from the endowment will be directed to conduct spinal cord research activities including but not limited to, student laboratory work, and equipment and materials. The Mark S. Lodge Fund in Spinal Cord Research will enrich the academic and research scholarship of students and faculty for years to come. Most importantly, this gift will ultimately improve patient lives.
