Miriam graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island with an Honours BSc in Chemistry. During her degree, her research focused on the photophysical and inclusion complexes of inorganic pigments and organic dyes. Besides her passion for science and research, Miriam has been an active volunteer in many community organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters and Kiwanis club. She also volunteered at the New Brunswick Archives Museum conservation laboratory. She looks forward to many volunteer opportunities here in Kingston and the area.
