Originally from the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Mosey is serving as the Acting Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Research for the 2017-2018 school year.  In addition to liaising with University Research Services, Dr. Mosey looks after the Graduate Student Awards in the Faculty of Arts and Science. He also acts as the liaison to the Vice-Principal (Research), to the Deans of Research in other faculties, and works with the School of Graduate Studies on many files, including graduate councils, supervision, recruitment, marketing, programs, and fellowships. Dr. Mosey’s departmental portfolio consists of Biology, Computing, Environmental Studies, Geography and Planning, Kinesiology and Health, Mathematics and Statistics, and Religion.

Dr. Mosey has taught courses on general chemistry, quantum mechanics, computational chemistry, and numerical methods, and also oversees students in the Mosey Group, where his research focuses on chemical simulations, tribology, electrocatalysis, and theoretical and computational chemistry.  Learn more about Dr. Mosey’s research here.
