Advancing medical interventions through artificial intelligence

When most people think of artificial intelligence (AI) they picture robots from Hollywood blockbusters or science fiction, but in reality, machine learning is already being used for many real-life applications. Parvin Mousavi, a professor in the Queen's School of Computing, is one of the researchers on the forefront of AI developments and is working to advance next generation medical interventions.

Five FAS students recognized globally for undergraduate work

The Undergraduate Awards Global Summit is the world’s leading academic awards program which recognizes top undergraduate work and shares this work with a global audience.

A salute to the past, and optimism for the future

The Queen’s University Industrial Relations Centre (IRC) celebrated 85 years of success last week, using the event to reflect on the early days of the Centre and start planning for the future. Now housed within the Faculty of Arts and Science, the IRC was created to provide challenging and innovative educational programs to advance the skills and expertise of organizational leaders through training and practitioner-focused research, enabling them to contribute to the success of their organizations.
