The Online Curriculum Tracking System opens Monday, August 30th, 2021.

All Curriculum Submissions for implementation in the 2022-2023 Calendar are due to the Curriculum Committee on or before Friday, October 15th, 2021.

As you develop and/or revise your courses this year, we invite you to do so within the context of the documents linked below:

We are collecting information to learn more about how departments are moving forward with these initiatives. The Intended Learning Outcomes and Learning Hours Form for 2021-2022 includes two questions for completion.

Online Curriculum Tracking System (OCTS Portal)

All proposals for a change to curriculum are submitted to the Faculty Curriculum Committee for approval via the Online Curriculum Tracking System - OCTS (to be accessed by Department Representatives only using the username assigned).

The Online Curriculum Tracking System (OCTS) process applies to:

  • Course Additions
  • Course Reinstatements
  • Course Deletions
  • Course Revisions
  • Degree or Certificate Plan Revisions

Appropriate departmental consultation and approval must be obtained prior to entering a curriculum submission. 

Degree Plan Introductions/Major Revisions and Deletions:

The Provost's Office has developed a two-part submission form to accompany the introduction of new degree Plans as part of the:

Degree Plan introductions and deletions are presented to Faculty Board as a “Notice of Motion” in October.  If your department intends to propose a new Degree Plan or delete an existing Degree Plan, please contact Chris Bergen, Program's Manager.

Attention Mac users:

The Preview application on your Mac (as of version 5.0.3) which is the default PDF viewer corrupts PDF forms in a number of ways. Preview does not correctly create form field appearances, causing data in fields not to be shown at all, or shown incorrectly. Please install and use Adobe Reader (link is external) prior to using the Curriculum PDF fillable forms. Please be sure to select the correct Mac operating system prior to download.
