The Faculty of Arts and Science Protocol for Short-Term Academic Consideration is intended to guide students, instructors and advisors in situations where extenuating circumstances are interfering with a student's ability to complete academic requirements related to a course(s) for a short period of time. If you require consideration, we are here to help.

We understand that there are occasions when extenuating circumstances may adversely affect your academic performance. The appeal process is available to reconsider the suitability of sanctions or penalties imposed upon a student in light of information brought forward by the student concerning their extenuating circumstances.
