June 3: Free Event on Global Health

The second annual Queen's Global Health Summer Institute invites you to attend a public roundtable discussion on Knowledge Translation for Global Health in Context: Lessons from the Poorest Countries to the Richest. The event is free and open to the public. It will take place on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Queen's New Medical Building (lecture room 132) from 7-9 pm.

The event speakers are:

Margaret Biggs
Skelton-Clark Fellow, School of Policy Studies, University. Former President of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).

Sandy Campbell
Knowledge Translation Specialist.

Dr. Ian D. Graham
Senior Scientist, Clinical Epidemiology, Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.

Katrina Plamondon
Nursing Research Facilitator, Interior Health; Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Health and Social Development, UBC Okanagan. 

The event is hosted by Queen’s University, Global Development Studies Department, Department of Family Medicine, and the Global Health Office in partnership with the Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research (CCGHR).
