ASO Postcard Contest

Win a trip to campus in the new year!

Continuing and Distance Studies (CDS) has been offering courses at a distance since 1889, but it wasn’t until 2001 when CDS, now called Arts and Science Online (ASO), began offering fully online courses with ANAT 100. Soon after, ASO was using a Learning Management System (WebCT) to allow it to expand the course selection so that distance students could complete degrees fully online.

Since that time, the number of distance students has increased exponentially, with students joining our courses and programs from all around the world. Help us celebrate the diversity of our ASO students like you.

Here’s how:

Step 1: Find a postcard which you feel best reflects your locale
Step 2: Write on the back of it one thought which inspires you to continue to learn
Step 3: Include your name and your program (if you are in a program)
Step 4: Mail it to us here at ASO:

Arts and Science Online
Dunning Hall, Room 134
Queen’s University
94 University Avenue
Kingston, Ontario, K7L 3N6
Canada

We will use these postcards to create a display board in our office and share them across our social media platforms. If you do not want your name to appear on social media, simply let us know on the back of the postcard.

By sending us a postcard with the information outlined above, you’ll be entered in a contest for a chance to win a trip to campus in Kingston, Ontario, this Winter 2019. The prize package will include up to $500 in transportation, an overnight stay at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Kingston Waterfront, and a $100 shopping spree at the Queen's Campus Bookstore. If you win the contest and can't make the trip to Kingston, you will have the option for us to bring campus to you by sending you a Queen's swag package in the mail.

We must receive your postcard by Friday, January 4 for you to be eligible to enter the contest.

Looking forward to seeing where all of our students call home!
