Community
There are a number of ways for our online students to connect with the Arts and Science Online and greater Queen’s community. Check out the options below.
Academic Advising
Need help with course selection, program changes or requirements, learning support, academic progress, appeals, university resources, or conflict resolution? Set up an academic advising appointment by emailing our office at asc.online@queensu.ca or calling us at (613) 533-3322.
Facebook Group
Connect, ask questions, and get support from your fellow peers in the ASO Facebook Group. Please note that you must be a current Queen’s distance student to enter the group; if you’re not yet a student with us, we’ll invite you to join the group when you are!
Peer Mentor Program
Looking for some guidance from someone with more online learning experience, or interested in providing guidance to someone with a little less experience? Apply to be a mentee or mentor here.
Queen's Sponsored Study Groups
Looking to get together with fellow online learners, in person, for a study session? Register to host a study session under “Queen’s Sponsored Study Group” here.
Student Academic Success Services (SASS)
Need learning, reading, or writing support? Book a one-on-one online learning appointment with a SASS specialist here. SASS also hosts three webinars each term for online students – you can see when they’re being offered and register for them here.
Also check out there many helpful online resources here.
Student Stories
Read some of our online student stories and tell us yours here. You can also read about some of our online students on our program pages.
