Self-Care 101


Feelin' Fine Fridays

Hi everyone!

I hope that you had a great week, and that you’ll have a great weekend! I just wanted to remind everyone that one of the most important aspects of being a student is to make sure you’re feelin’ fine! We can get overwhelmed by school, work and personal life, so it’s extra important to take a moment to yourself and make sure that you’re okay. Do what you can to feel fine, whether it’s laughing, crying, dancing, stomping, reading, running, or all of the above. We all need an outlet to get a handle on the stresses that life hands to us and it’s important to get a release. Too much studying? Take a break, go laugh with some friends or go out dancing! Too much going on with family? Cry it out, run it out or stomp home instead of walk home if it feels good! Is stuff piling up at work? Skip the chores and finish your book. It’s important to make sure that everything is caught up in life, but it’s also very important to make sure you’re feeling good about yourself. Also, don’t ever hesitate to ask for help when you need it.
