Profile: Dr Shara Rambarran

Dr Shara RambarranTeaching & Experiential Learning

Bader College is a good place to study the course because students have an opportunity to hear, observe, and describe popular music by participating in activities in South East England. One of my favourite experiential learning opportunities was watching Flying Lotus perform at the Roundhouse—it was an exciting and postmodern-musical experience for my students!

I like teaching at the castle because the students are very keen to learn how and why certain genres/styles have developed and appreciate its longevity in musical creativity industry, culture and society.
