Coronavirus COVID-19 and the BISC Fall 2021 plans

Fall FY18We are extremely excited to announce that after a full year of remote learning, the Bader International Study Centre will return to in-person learning for first-year students this Fall. This decision has been made with careful consideration as restrictions in England are now beginning to lift and the UK’s comprehensive vaccination program continues apace.

As eager as we all are to return to campus life as we know it, the health and safety of students, staff, and faculty remains our primary concern. As such, all decisions regarding public health measures taken at the BISC will be made in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada and UK Public Health authorities.

We have outlined the health and safety guidelines we will have in place here, to best protect all members of the BISC community and ensure a safe and successful return to the Castle for all concerned.  These guidelines will be regularly reviewed to ensure they reflect the current situation both in the UK and globally. As UK restrictions are lifted even further these guidelines may change, but here are the BISC’s current plans for the students’ return to campus; provisions we call our, ‘Covid19 Readiness’.
